Indeed - GMR aka The Monroe Truck Trail

With the San Gabriels still recovering from the Station Fire and Mt. Pinos off-limits for the short term - it's on to the Glendora Mountain Road Shuttle. That's right the shuttle is back.

The trail is a mix of wide open, "flowy" fire road to over grown, technical and rocky single track. It is simple: go fast the ride is advanced, go slow to reasonably paced the trail is beginner to intermediate. Yes the trail is safe for beginners. If you have never ridden a mountain bike before, we will set you up with a buddy to ride down. There are several options to GMR: the main road, the Big Dalton cut-off and what I call the "Go" option.

All options start at the intersection of Glendora Mountain Road and the Monroe Truck Trail. After a few miles of skimming the ridge-line, the trail gives way from wide fire road to 'sinuousy' single-track and 'dives' into the canyon. The trail twists and turns throws rocks at you and is generally what we've come to expect of the San Gabriels.
