This year's Planks, Cranks and Tanks will be our best ever. One of our more popular events, we are providing both air and ground options. Those of you who want to do it on your own can too!
The plan: Ski/Ride Saturday, Mountain Bike Sunday and Scuba Dive Monday. We will motor out of So. Cal. Friday afternoon and get to Mammoth that night.
Saturday we will ski/ride all day or until the snow gets mushy ~ 3PM. Everyone will hang in town and be social. I know the General Manager at the Yodler so perhaps we can enjoy a few laughs there.
Sunday - those taking the land option, will depart Mammoth Lakes early 4AM for the drive to Big Bear. Those flying will have an opportunity to sleep in and enjoy a great breakfast in Mammoth before departing for Big Bear.
We will all meet at Snow Summit resort around 10AM where will spend the whole day mountain biking all that Snow Summit has to offer! Riding the SkyChair and barreling down sinuous single track all day is a great way to spend the day. If you haven't done it - well you are in for a treat.
Apres Ride, we will eat drink and be merry at one of the local establishments. Of course, we will remember to save room for scuba diving on Sunday.
Everyone will head back to LA Sunday night so we can rest up and "tank up" for Monday's scuba dive.
Monday morning we will head to San Pedro where we will catch a boat for scuba diving on Catalina Island. Specific boat info and dive location(s) TBD.

Things you need: Skis/snowboard, boots, if you don't have them rentals are available. Scuba certification. Adventurous Spirit.

We are going to change this up and make it: Planks and Cranks. We will ski/ride Mammoth in the AM and mountain bike the area in the afternoon - Saturday and Sunday and Monday. If enough people want to bring their mountain bikes, I'll bring the trailer and will shuttle you. We are looking for lodging now. . .
