Introduction

I'm new to the area and looking to meet people who are interested in being active and enjoy the outdoors. This morning I went to the Rock Gym and saw this meetup group there. I was impressed with the organization and wanted to join.

What kind of outdoor activities do you already do?

Right now I do a lot of running but before I moved here I loved to go hiking when I could. I also used to bike a lot (but around town rather than on trails - although I hope to learn how to mountain bike and get over my fear of taking a nasty spill!)

What sorta stuff are you looking to do with this group?

I would love to do some hiking, biking, climbing, camping, kayaking, canoeing, and learn orienteering and surfing. Always up for outdoor fun in this fabulous SoCal weather!!
