SCOA's Los Incredible Weekend

What an incredible weekend! We had some folks head out to Catalina for some scuba diving. Rick da Hawaiian had some free flow regulator issues but worked through it and had a blast. Scuba diving men - where ya at? The ladies got the right idea - come on out and dive!

Brendan, Kelly, Matt and Justin hung out with me at SCOA HQ and learned about flying planes and what to look for during pre-flight. By the amont of questions asked and the turn out the next day - I'd say we have some budding pilots in our midst.

The event of the weekend was Sunday when SCOA raided Mt. Baldy! Thanks to Stephen for making it happen AND taking the extra step to hook us up with tickets. If you haven't give him a shout and say thanks. Stephen is a professional through and through! NO pictures - what's up with dat?

Winter is here. If you have a pass or discounted tickets time to use them! I am off to Mammoth for some snowshoeing/hiking and oh some high altitude training - er skiing. No less than 4 different trips going this weekend so no excuses!

Winter yeah winter, is the best time to surf. The waves are more consistent and the vendors are having some smoking deals. SCOA does quite a bit or work with Kai and 2010 won't be any different. I know he is running a deal. As soon as I get the details I'll post! In the interim, for you stand up folks there is some action in Sunset Beach this weekend.

Vendor Sport Light: Rivers End Rafting just joined the SCOA network. They are still working out the details for 2010 but think about guided rock climbing one day then river rafting the next . . . Dats What I am talkin 'bout! Check out their photos
